I search the same route every day. I still live in the same place and the location of my workplace hasn't moved either. So I type it in, every day. (Well, now I've made a program that does it for me, but that's not the point.)
Why not have a "bookmark"? Let me bookmark it. The URL for searches on a lot of pages don't lend themselves to bookmarking.
