Please allow me to pre-load everything. I have the time.

Services that provide streaming of music, TV shows and movies are for the most part great. There is one part missing, however: the option to pre-load everything. I am not always on an internet connection with high enough speed to stream directly in the quality I want (especially on vacations - which is when I have the most time to watch stuff). What happens then usually is that I either am forced to watch the video in lower quality, or watch it with more or less frequent breaks while it again has to fetch an insufficient amount of data to prevent another break.

The following options should be provided:
(1) Preload it so that it can be seen continuously given that the speed of the internet connection remains the same.
(2) Preload it so that it can be seen continuously even if the internet connection breaks down entirely several times during the download process.
(3) Preload everything.

If there is insufficent space to do this, tell them that you can only do a certain amount of preloading, and that this will result in (frequent or infrequent, depending) breaks during the movie. Or let me change where you store your temporary stuff so that it's possible to get it all.

I think I'm not alone in thinking that I'll gladly wait a few minutes extra in order to be able to watch the episode or movie without any breaks!

Even more frustrating when the service itself is down or slow for whatever reason: You can be on the fastest internet connection in the world and your movie is still stopped three times during the two hours it takes to watch it. Good grief!

This might be confusing. Present it as follows:
Your internet connection is too slow to view your [whatever] without interruptions.

Let users choose. Give people their content. I'm pretty sure it won't take you that long to implement.

Tip of my hat to Gmail who even has a slow-connection option.

Offline playlists are great! Obviously I'd like a way to select all playlists and make them available offline, since I have several.

I might be traveling. Or I might have a bad router and would hence like to buffer when it's behaving.
